Roadmap for Kinky Fight Club.

Also i made a post about the Achieved Goal and that players can chose five sex/foreplay movements that they want me to add to the game!

As i have previously mentioned i had (still having) some trouble derived form the global situation that have taken quite a toll on the game development. So i decided to postpone the Launch of the game. The main reason behind this is that i don't want to do a rushed pseudo unfinished game just to follow a date. I wanna do a good game. I will explain below what made impossible for me to stick to the original launch date.

Today i also wanna share with all of you the Roadmap for the next months.

New Release date: Early September 2020.

RoadMap:

April

Main Features: 

  • Visual Update
  • Character Sharing
  • Start Localization

Secondary Features:

  • Screenshot Companion fix
  • Fix any animations mismatches
  • Update tutorial
  • Start Online Manual

May

Main Features:

  • Add "Extra" Slot for clothing in Character Creator.
  • Complete all the 6 Char.Creator Slots.
  • Complete all the base Female Characters.
  • Complete Localization
  • Re-Start Story mode.*
  • Cumshots / decals.
  • Complete the Art Gallery.

Secondary Features:

  • Finish Online Manual
  • Missing Sex moves (return to the usual 4 per update + missing from last update)
  • Character Dick Size.
  • Add more Female && Male Voices.

What is the Extra Slot? It a slot for clothing option that aren't included in the others, for example chokers, cat ears, headphones, glasses, etc. You can request items for this slot with the following exceptions: Items in this slot cannot cover the mouth area.

*I will explain this below.

June

 Main Features:

  • Complete all base male Characters.
  • Re-balance movements between characters.
  • Char. Selection Character moves list displayer.
  • Story mode Chapter 1  Test.
  • 5th Costume: Latex costumes 
  • Char Creator update on items*.

Secondary Features:

  •  Start developing "Finisher" moves. 
  •  Story mode Chapter 1 to 3 ready. 
  • Complete 6 Guest Character slots.
  • Re-check/improve Cameras.

 *To add all the items in the new Costume, aswell as some new, and more hairstyles, and Latex Texture for most items!.

July

 Main Features:

  • Add "Finisher" Moves.
  • Add 1 extra Foreplay and Sex slot move for each character +  a new Action & Finisher Ability.*
  • Update Game UI for the newest additions.
  • Dirty Talk Update. (+ lines, improve variations).
  • Review and Fix anything needed in the 30 base Characters.

Secondary Features:

  • Story mode Chapter 4 to 7 ready.
  • Custom characters Snapshot.
  • Optimize background for performance.
  •  Add Hardcore mode to Arcade and Survival. 

 * This means each character will have 6 foreplay and 6 sex movements, a new action to use (Advance), and the ability to use a "Finisher" (or Signature) move.

August

 Main Features:

  • Expand Guest Characters to 9.
  • Story mode Chapters 8 to 10 ready.
  • Find a way to add more Costumes to Custom Characters.
  • Stage selector (different arenas to fight)
  • Steam adaptation.

Secondary Features:

  • Fix Localization errors.
  • Extensive Bug-fix.
  • Also Add color variations to Custom characters.

 

September (Final Release)

Main Features:

  • Gallery / Free Sex mode
  • Story Mode (completed)
  • Steam Achievements
  • At least 75 diferent sex movements.*

Secondary Features:

  • Expand guest Characters to 12.
  • Make sure shit works.

Current number of different sex movements (excluding variations): 58

Some optional Features that will be added only if Everything goes allright with Development and time:

  • More Story Content: expanded choices and dialogues.
  • Online play 
  • Tag Team (As in 1vs1 but you can change fighter with your teammate).
  • Add Bindings (handcuffs, etc) outside of Finisher moves.
  • Reach 90 Sex/Foreplay Movements.
  • Add the Audience feature that got forgotten.
  • Make a Mac build that actually works (<- need Mac testers)
  • Make an automatic Tournament mode.

The King of the ring feature: This one will be made once the Goal is reached, which is kinda close now. I still haven't figured the final name for this feature. After the Goal is reached i will start to work on it and hopefully add it to the next update after that. This may vary based on the amount of time and work i got for that update.  If the Goal isn't reached before september the feature will be in the Full-game anyway.

The Story mode:

I been talking a bit about Story mode for quite a while, and i worked a lot and had a lot of headaches with what to do with it. This is the complete story about what happened here.

When i started making it i wanted to make something open-world ish. In the way that you could explore and go to different places and train in different ways, and go to the KYFC whenever you wanted. Each week you would have 100 energy to spend as you liked between all the activities, including fighting in the KYFC. As a concept the idea was good, but as i started making it, it became way heavier than i tought, and way more complicated. 

And the truth is, the game is already a bit complicated for newcomers, having a ever-more-complicated Story mode wouldn't have helped, and i faced the problem that im working alone and the amount of content i would have to do for the game to keep going as a Open-world-ish is really huge. So i took some weeks off Story mode and focused on the Visual Update, and after a lot of pondering and weighting ideas i finally came to the conclusion that i would have to re-start the whole Story mode. I went too wide and i was unable to cover all the things i wanted to do. In the end i was making a Story mode that played like a Dating Sim for an Arcade game, i was making two games in one, a complicated and pointless task.

That is why i decided to focus on Kinky Fight Club as the Arcade game it is. I will be making a Story mode that is a bit more linear. Not completely linear, and the player Choices will matter.  I also managed to get some cool assets on my hands on the last Unity sale, which are going to help me with this task to not be so heavy, and im going to start working with someone to help me with the dialogues. This is thanks to you fellas, as i wouldn't be able to do these things withouth your support! 

Im currently testing stuff with this writter to see how it goes, and if everything goes well, the story and dialogues will be way better than before.  This also leads to the possiblity of a Kinky Fight Club dating sim spin-off ( As in, same world, some shared characters and lore, but in the dating sim joining the KYFC won't be an option and it will be 100% a dating sim).

It is too early to advertise that tho, but it would be nice if things can work out and there will be a nice Dating sim for those who wanted it.

This post is way longer than expected, what i wanted to say mostly is that im working on the game, and once may starts i will restart the whole Story mode and try to find a way to make it as less linear as possible while not going crazy in the process. I also want to finish the localization, which is taking me at least four more times than what i expected it will take. And im only trying to get translated the menus and the game basics. The Story mode will not be translated. Finally, there is something i wanted to clarify so there isn't any errors or misunderstandings in the future.

Kinky Fight Club is (will be) in Steam.

I know not everyone wants to play the game in Steam, so it will also be in other platforms, or once the game is released i will personally send the player a private donwload link.

What is the difference between the Steam/Full build, and the $5 support build. (for those that just join on September)

The $5 build of September won't include Story mode, and it never will. After September if you want the story mode You should get it on Steam or Itch, or any of those places.

No functionality that is already on the game will be removed from any version. But Some new stuff (Story mode) will be added to the full-game.*

* this is important for legal reasons only.

The Steam version will get the updates that comes with future patreon updates.*
