Solas City Heroes update 0.8


Hey friends!

Im back, and this time with a new update!

After a massive rework in the whole AI, I’m now happy to present you with this month’s update!

What’s new?

Improved AI!

This has been the focus of this month (and almost half of previous month as well) and I got it working…finally!

I basically rewritten 80% of the AI and added a bunch of new limitations, considerations and options for the AI to do. But you will notice it in a few ways:

  • Enemies now collide with other enemies and won’t just clump into a giant angry ball
  • Enemies now can get away, try to flank to player and ignore some objects in their path
  • Enemies now have abilities (not all), some of these abilities have a charge time
  • Enemies are now less likely to fail at finding the player while it is trapped or downed
  • Enemies can now move away before or after attacking
  • All bosses have one ability.

The charging and casting animations for some of the abilities are placeholders and will be replaced later on.

All in all the AI feels totally different from before, and as such the game is a bit harder now, but in order to compensate for that I have nerfed the stats on some enemies and reduced the amount of enemies per stage by 6-12, this mostly due to reducing the maximum number of enemies in a given group to 7, down from 10.

New talents and fighting styles!

I decided to add all the missing talents, so we can have more time for testing everything before launch. These new talents include the last fighting style (kicking focused, deals high damage but makes the player vulnerable! - a glass cannon if you will). The new talents also include the Improved fighting style talents which give even bigger bonuses but also increases the numbers of hits in combos by adding one or two extra attacks!

The number of talents required for some tiers has been increased and some talents rebalanced.

Bondage improvement: Rope!

Added rope bondage to the game! You can now select 2 new hand restraints (actually 4, since each option has 2 variants), the option to have rope harnesses (two variants) and rope leg restraints!

And since rope doesn’t combine so well with black leather restraints, I also added scarf blindfolds and gags! (basically just a scarf tied around the player’s eyes or mouth)

New animations

I added three totally new sex positions this month:

Two threesomes: Kneeling handjob and Kneeling footjob

and a new very sexy cowgirl position! (Rubbing cowgirl)

Also imported 7 animations from previous games!

New Stage and enemies

Continuing the story, here it is the Laboratory!

This stage includes two new villains: The scientist and the dark nurse!

Fun fact: scientists can spawn bondage traps and mines (or only mines if you don’t have bondage or nsfw content enabled) and the nurses and dark nurses can cast an AOE heal!

Dare system

Due to popular requests I have added a system that allows the player to challenge themselves and see how far they can get in the hardest conditions… Or just start a stage being naked and/or with restraints… And you even get to choose which restraints!

New undressing options!

I have managed to make two new undressing options, both of them requested by players. These new two options are:

Move away and remove: This works like the Move away setting but it will always remove the bottom clothing (instead of moving it away). This works wonderful for characters wearing catsuits or bodysuits and wanting them to remove skirts or shorts.

Progressve: This one removes the Jacket, Torso and bottom clothing slots initially, and then whenever the character cums an additional part of clothing is removed until the character is fully naked!

Updated Solas City map

I added the new map, made by Reg kira, which looks amazing!

Now the Map selection area looks way better

Semi transparent materials

I have added new semi-transparent materials for gloves and boots, and I fixed the semi-transparent material that was being used on bodysuits and catsuits to not lose the transparentness when trying to change the color!

Improved boots

This is something I had done a few months ago and forgot to include in the game, but now boots (both male and female) have new and better textures!

Improved gameover

Just a small improvement but the gameover now looks better, no more instant disappearing and falling over enemies.

Bugfixes

Fixed a bunch of bugs, including a lot of animation-transition related ones, enemies getting stuck, players getting stuck in heavy bondage after completing a stage on it, and a lot more.

And that’s all for this month’s update!

All in all this is a huge update, coding and content wise. As with the threesome update, since this is an update with a lot of new content (code-wise, mostly the AI) there is a chance that new bugs are found, but as usually if game-breaking stuff is found I will make a quick fix as soon as I can.

  • Updated the Solas City map with new artwork made by Reg kira!
  • Fixed an issue with the area crosshairs having a red pixel
  • Karate belts and suits are now properly double-sided

Awesome! Thanks! I was wondering if you could add some wrestling submission moves like a camel clutch for example. Both enemies or heroine 😍
